Arm and shoulder pain can come from issues with your rotator cuff. The rotator cuff consists of four separate tendons that form a continuous band encased in fascia: the subscapularis, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, and teres minor. These tendons work together to allow smooth, coordinated movement in the shoulder. If you have pain when you move your arm or shoulder, that usually means that one of these tendons is injured.
Our therapists know how to differentiate which tendon in injured, therefore knowing where we need to focus our work.
